So, apparently, there’s this big sports thing going on in England. Naturally, British icons such as Mr Bean and the Doctor were in attendance. And so was the master of the royal hand wave, the Queen. Heck, she even got James Bond himself to escort her out of a helicopter!
You know what the scariest part of this tribute is? Is that technically, the Queen is now a Bond girl. I ain’t buying that calendar! In addition to that bit of Danny Boyle directed patriotism, an all new TV spot emerged, highlighting some brand new action scenes for the upcoming Skyfall, amidst some familiar footage.
Jokes aside, when the James Bond theme blared over the London stadium, the games truly had begun in absolute awesome fashion.

I ain’t gonna lie. When Bond does that jump into the wrecked train and then immediately adjusts his cufflinks, I came very close to messing my fanboy pants.

You know the last time I got that fanboy sensation? Pierce Brosnan adjusting his tie quickly, after destroying a sizeable chunk of Russian real estate in a tank, from Goldeneye.
