Be afraid in this new international trailer for SKYFALL

Watch out guys, we got us a badass over here! If there’s one thing that Bond movies have been lacking in the last couple of years, it’s a villain that can raise the bar and join the iconic ranks of Auric Goldfinger, Dr No and Sean “delayed death this time” Bean from the Bond rogues gallery.

Javier Bardem is looking to get into that club, and he’s got a new trailer to help him audition.

There’s a mix of new and old footage in the trailer, as Bardem proves that maniacal terrorist blondes know how to have fun on a global scale, with Berenice Marlohe once again repeating her warning to stay clear of him, to Bond.

Also, there’s a Chinese voice that yells something at us in a rather loud voice. Which frightens me even more.

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Skyfall was directed by Sam Mendes, and stars Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace and Tonia Sotiropoulo.

And it’s out in November.

It looks like the Bond films might be back up to speed. And I agree that Javier Bardem has the potential to make the villain role stand out. But I would have preferred if he’d kept his darker hair. The blonde do keeps making me think of Little Britain’s David Walliams.

Yeah, the blonde locks are off putting, and am I the only that’s noticing something funny about his eyes?
