Ok, so like, get this man. There’s this guy, who was part of a gang that was involved in some big roobery, and he got busted while they got away. Thing is man, he spent six years in the joint, and he said nuthin’ to the cops about his buddies.

And now he’s finally out, and they want to know where he hid his part of the loot, ok? Sound familiar? Yes, yes it does. But Sushi Girl has one thing that those other films in the same heist van didn’t have; Luke Skywalker!

SUSHI GIRL centers on the compelling character of a man called “Fish,” just released after six years in jail after successfully not ratting on those involved in the robbery that sent him to prison. The night he is released, the men he protected with silence celebrate his freedom with a congratulatory dinner. The meal is a lavish array of sushi, served off the naked body of a beautiful young woman. The sushi girl seems catatonic, trained to ignore everything in the room, even if things become dangerous. Sure enough, the unwieldy thieves can’t help but open old wounds in an attempt to find their missing loot, with violent results.

Directed by Kern Saxton, Sushi Girl stars Mark Hamill, James Duvall, Tony Todd, Andy Mackenzie, Sonny Chiba and Noah Hathaway. Looks like some decent fun, and Mark Hammil looks downright creepy in a blonde wig and a flexed Joker voice.

Sushi Girl is scheduled for release next year April.

It looks like the kind of films we saw more of in the Nineties. Killing Zoe and such.
