Ladies, watch out. I’m a man. I’m the kind of man who built the Eiffel tower from steel and brawn! Your one third size brains can’t compare to my intellect! Science! Yep, for as long as we’ve had different chromosomes, we’ve always had competition between the sexes, with most films favouring guys when it comes to murder and revenge.

But in Girls against boys, that idea gets turned updside down, as one twosome of jilted and damaged ladies decides to take equal rights to an all new level. Like, with power-tools and torture and death. See for yourself, after the jump.

When Shae, a naïve college student, is tormented by several men in a matter of days, she reaches her breaking point, and is drawn into coworker Lu’stwisted plan for revenge. Together, the two embark on a gruesome killing spree, terrorizing and brutally murdering not just their attackers, but any man who gets in their way. However, after a wild weekend of retaliation, the friendship between the girls shifts into a dangerous obsession, and their perverse game becomes a desperate struggle for Shae to maintain control against Lu’s deadly and seductive influence.

Girls against boys has been on the indie circuit for several months now, but reactions have been lukewarm so far. More stylish and opportunistic gore than is looking to appeal to feminists, critics have been divided so far on the film.

It’s getting a limited release next month, and will most likely hit DVD on this side shortly afterwards. Girls against boys stars Danielle Panabaker and Nicole LaLiberte, and is directed by Austin Chick.
