Robots in disguise. More than meets the eye. These are just some of the trademarked trademarks that describe the Transfomers franchise, as those gigantic Autobots and Decepticons happen to be pretty damn good at keeping a low profile when they’re not tearing up a major metropolitan city.

One set of bots that fail the stealth test when they’re in vehicle mode though? The Dinobots, a fan favourite group of Jurassic ass-kickers that’ll be making a long overdue debut in the fourth Transformers movie.

So what will they look like exactly? The current movie version of the various other Transformers has played up the alien aspect of the robots in disguise quite considerably, with only a few hints here and there to the original designs of the 1980s cartoons. Some blueprints have popped up online, via Seibertron and SuperheroHype that show off the Dinobot Design:

That’s a  design that leans closer to the G1 Transformers, something that has been kind of unheard of so far in the Transformers franchise. They’re some pretty great designs overall, and I’m hoping they turn out to be legit. Especially the Optimus Prime redesign which looks fantastic.

Transformers: Age of Extinction arrives this year June 27, and stars Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing and T.J. Miller. Micheal Bay bayrects the baysplosions.
