JACK REACHER

Come mit me if you vant to know vho playz Kyle Reese in de new Terminator movie.

Production is gearing up on the Terminator reboot, with the first major cast member now joining production. After fighting off Russian mobsters and Tom Cruise, it looks like Jai Courtney will be doing the time-travel bubble hop to the past in order to make sure that Skynet never emerges to claim the Earth. Michael Biehn played Kyle Reese in the original movie, a freedom fighter who was sent back in time to save the mother of human resistance figurehead John Connor, and ended up becoming his father in a paradoxical night of getting bizzay.

Courtney also joins Emilia Clarke, who plays Sarah Connor, for the 2015 reboot that is meant to kick off a new trilogy. Alan “Thor: The Dark World” Taylor directs, with Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier writing the script. Sounds like a solid bit of casting to me. A good day to Die Hard had some decent action setpieces, something which will no doubt serve as experience for this remake. What do you reckon? A good choice, or Hasta La Vista Terminator franchise?

DUN DUN DUN DE DUUUN!

  1. Jai Courtney is virtually indistinguishable from Sam Worthington, who was in the last Terminator movie, so that’s visually confusing. Other than that… *shrug*

this is a horrible, HORRIBLE idea. I love the terminator genre, and even enjoyed Salvation for all its faults. this however, sounds like its doomed to failure.
