This trailer for THE IMITATION GAME is filled with secrets

It’s one thing to be a genius, but you’ve usually got some emotional Babbage that comes with the intellect. Wait, wrong computer analogy there. We wouldn’t have computers today, if it were for several ahead of their time minds over the last two centuries. One of which was Alan Turing, the breaker of the Enigma code that baffled many a wartime mind. Intelligent and gifted, Turing got the short end of the stick from his own government for being homosexual. This film, is his story. Or a dramatization of it at least.

In THE IMITATION GAME, Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Alan Turing, the genius British mathematician, logician, cryptologist and computer scientist who led the charge to crack the German Enigma Code that helped the Allies win WWII. Turing went on to assist with the development of computers at the University of Manchester after the war, but was prosecuted by the UK government in 1952 for homosexual acts which the country deemed illegal.

A good cast, a solid budget and World War 2. Everything that you need for a solid end of year biopic. The Imitation Game is out on November 21, and also stars Keira Knightley,Mark Strong, and Matthew Goode.
