Destiny McFarlane Toys (6)

For a franchise that features plenty of armour, exotic guns and space-Satan, you’d expect there to be a lot more Destiny merchandise on the shelves. And while there is some, there simply isn’t enough of the game in one crucial category: Toys. Sure, there happen to be dedicated sixth-scale figures from ThreeA, but I’m talking more affordable options.

Smaller figures, with a decent paint job and cool accessories. Fortunately, the granddad of quality action figures, McFarlane Toys, is on the job. They’ll be releasing a trio of 7-inch figures this July, as well as a more imposing and awesome 10-inch Lord Saladin in his Iron Lord suit. Here’s the official description for each of the figures from McFarlane toys, as well as their US pricing:

Lord Saladin 10″ Deluxe Figure – Fall 2017 – $34.99

The last of the Iron Lords, Lord Saladin is a Titan who is a legendary hero and defender of the city, pegged with the task of containing the SIVA virus. After the events of the Taken War saw the Fallen and the House of Devils unearth the SIVA virus, Lord Saladin began seeking out Guardians to form a new generation of Iron Lords to end the threat once and for all.

Iron Banner: Hunter 7″ Scale Figure – July 017 – $19.99

Destiny Huner

Hunters stalk the wilderness beyond the city, harnessing the Light to reclaim the secrets of our lost worlds. They are daring scouts and stealthy killers, expert with knives and precision weapons. Hunters blaze their own trails and write their own laws. Destiny’s Iron Banner: Hunter comes equipped with the Thorn hand cannon and Hung Jury scout rifle. Fully customizable figure with 14+ points of articulation for dynamic posing. Stylized Destiny display base included.

King’s Fall: Warlock 7″ Scale Figure – July 017 – $19.99

Destiny McFarlane Toys (1) (2)

Warrior-scholars of the Light, Warlocks devote themselves to understanding the Traveller and its power. A Warlock’s mind is an arsenal of deadly secrets, balanced between god-hood and madness. On the battlefield, those secrets can shatter reality itself. King’s Fall: Warlock comes equipped with the Touch of Malice scout rifle and Black Hammer sniper rifle. Fully customizable figure with 14+ points of articulation for dynamic posing. Stylized Destiny display base included.

Vault of Glass: Titan 7″ Scale Figure – July 017 – $19.99

Destiny McFarlane Toys (2) (2)

Titans are warriors – heroic defenders of the Light, channelling the gifts of the Traveller to wage war on the Darkness. Steadfast and sure, Titans face any challenge head-on, blunt force instruments of the Traveler’s will. Vault of Glass: Titan comes equipped with iconic Gjallarhorn rocket launcher and Invective shotgun. Fully customizable figure with 14+ points of articulation for dynamic posing. Stylized Destiny display base included.

I don’t even play as a Hunter, and I want that Iron Banner armoured version so damn bad. Mind you, these figures may not boast the same level of detail that you’d find on a figure from Hot Toys, but when you compare price to quality there’s plenty of bang for your buck. Man, I hope McFarlane Toys release a Warlock draped in the Days of Iron armour set. That would…make my day.
