Despite it still being 7 months away, as of late I have found my anticipation for James Bond’s latest adventure, Skyfall, increasing exponentially. And as the marketing campaign for the Sam Mendes directed film fully swings into action now, I can only expect that anticipation to become even more pronounced.
The latest addition to that marketing campaign is a collection of 13 hi-res images which shows off Bond and his cohorts in action and on set.
Now this is probably just a result of the proximity of the two images, as well as the similarity of the wood paneling in each shot, but it does appear that Ralph Fiennes and Daniel Craig are engaged in a firefight against each other.
Fiennes’ character has thus far only been described as a “government agent”, but if he is indeed trying to put a bullet between Bond’s eyes, that certainly calls into question the veracity of the rumour we reported on yesterday that his character is set to take over from Dame Judi Dench as M.
Here’s the official synopis:
In “Skyfall,” Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
