Avengers fans, assemble!

2 min read

The Avengers is out on DVD and Blu Ray this week, and will most likely be snapped up by a quite a few eager fans who were bowled over by the film this year. If you haven’t bought it yet though, and fancy yourself something of a super-hero, then you can stand a chance to win a copy of the film for free, with Musica on Saturday.

Musica in Joburg and Cape Town will be giving away copies of the film to fans who dress up, and arrive at the selected store. Want in? Here’s what you have to do:

Dress yourself up as your favourite Avenger or Marvel hero (Sorry guys, Batman and Wonder Woman don’t count, so I can’t enter then), and get your picture snapped at the promotional event with some Avengers branding, and the first 30 people to do so will receive a free copy of the entire Marvel Phase one collection on DVD.

That’s Captain America, the Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 1 and 2, Thor and The Avengers! And it gets even better. Musica will then put those photos up on their Facebook page, and whichever hero receives the most votes, will win an exclusive Bowen Thor statue for their collection.

So remember, dress up, and head on down to either the Sandton City Musica mega-store in Jozi, or the Canal Walk Musica mega-store at Century City in Cape Town, from 9AM to 11AM on September 1st.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia’s M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!

  • I’d not go through all that even if they paid me to show up.

  • That is without a doubt the greatest bit of Hulk cospplay I have ever seen,

  • Any excuse for cosplay, huh?
