Brutal, brooding and incredibly polished, Marvel’s Daredevil was a monstrous success. So naturally we are super stoked to have Charlie Cox’s blind vigilante back on our screens as soon as possible. And even more naturally, we were kind of jealous when the lucky folks in attendance at this weekend past’s New York Comic Con got treated to the first teaser trailer for the critically acclaimed series’ upcoming second season which gives the first look at Elodie Yung’s Elektra and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.

Please note: I said we WERE kind of jealous. Past tense. And that’s because the teaser has now been released online for all to see! The bulk of the teaser is just a recap of compilation of season 1 footage, but its final 30 seconds or so is where all the season 2 goodness is at. So enough words from me, check it out below!

Yes, I know that’s not much, but at this point I’ll take whatever I can get!

While there’s no word on the fate of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin yet – Daredevil will kind of have his hands full with his war with the Punished – Rosario Dawson, Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll will all be returning for Daredevil season two which will be debuting in on Netflix in early 2016.

A man of many passions – but very little sleep – I’ve been geeking out over movies, video games, comics, books, anime, TV series and lemon meringues as far back as I can remember. So show up for the geeky insight, stay for the delicious pastries.

  • Lourens Corleone

ZOMG, they use Royal Blood – Out of the Black in the trailer? Sold.

  • The Sten

Will not watch it until I can watch the trailer in peace here at work, maybe at lunch time.

Either way….my body is ready for season 2

  • I cannot wait!

  • Commander JJ of the Normandy

This is one excellent series. The suit in the end of the last season was a bit underwhelming. The mask looked ill fitting, especially by the neck. But the series is awesome, so I’m just nitpicking.
