Don't talk to Bruce Willis about time travel, in this new LOOPER clip

We’re all big fans of time travel and its wibbly wobbly ramifications here at TheMovies, but we also happen to be fans of Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon Levitt. Toss those three factors into one film, and you’ve got the makings of a rather intriguing project, as JGL has to figure out who’s trying to kill him by sending himself back in time to his younger self to kill and I’m confused now.

So how does the time travel, which is deemed illegal in the world of Looper work? Someone has the answers, but just don’t ask Bruce Willis, as it seems to be a touchy subject for the old man.

Ooh, he’s going to feel that in the morning a few decades from now. For those of you without some video access right now, the above scene plays out the snippet of Americana diner talk seen in the trailers, only with more insults and some geriaction.

Looper is drawing near now, and also stars Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, Paul Dano and Garret Dillahunt.

In the futuristic action thriller “Looper,” time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.
