Simplistic but amazing first poster for The Words, which stars Bradley Cooper as a writer who discovers the price for stealing another man’s work. The Words is set for release 19 December, 2012.

Robert Downey Jr spoke to Brazilian website Omelete about Iron Man 3. Total Film has the English translation:

“I think that we have an opportunity with the third Iron Man to make the best of the three, and maybe one of the better superhero movies that’s ever been made. But I think we have to remember what made the first one good. It was very character-driven. It was very odd. It was kind of outrageous. And so I think we have to have the courage to trust that the audience is really kind of cool, and smart”

Producer Patrick Muldoon reveals that Amanda Seyfried will bare it all in the title role for the biopic of deceased famed porn-star turned anti-porn activist, Linda Lovelace.

Variety is reporting that Russian director Timur Bekmembatov (Wanted, Night Watch) is planning to adapt Stephen Tunney’s young adult sci fi novel, One Hundred Percent Lunar Boy, the plot of which sounds all kinds of weird and amazing

Two thousand years in the future, the Moon has become a run-down experiment in terraforming and colonization with a dusty patina and a bright red sky. To sixteen-year-old Hieronymus Rexaphin, it is the only world he has ever known until he meets a girl from Earth called Windows Falling on Sparrows, who is inexplicably drawn to him because of his special–some say dangerous–condition. Hieronymus is a One Hundred Percent Lunar Boy who can see the fourth primary color, which gives him the ability to see the future path of time and matter. To look into his eyes will cause madness or even death, authorities say, so he is forced to wear goggles at all times. The color of his eyes is against Lunar law, and some say against nature. After breaking the Moon s most serious law and exposing his eyes to the curious young Earth girl, Hieronymus embarks on a tremendous misadventure to protect his friends and save his family, and to escape exile and imprisonment on the far side of the moon.

Hollywood is always criticized for not telling more original stories. Well, it doesn’t get more original than that.

Rising star Tom Hardy is set to play crime boss Al Capone, in Harry Potter director David Yates’ upcoming film about the Depression Era gangster, titled Cicero. Hardy is an amazing young actor with a number of high profile projects ahead of him (The Dark Knight Rises, Mad Max: Fury Road), and I think he is a perfect casting for this. Now I wonder how good he is with a baseball bat?

Disney has confirmed that it’s 2013 animated film Frozen will not be hand drawn as some suspected but rather make use of CG animation. Frozen is the recently announced new title of it’s long in development The Snow Queen

The new International poster for Disney’s adapation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic action adventure tale, John Carter, shows lead Taylor Kitsch out for a lovely Martian afternoon ride. On a giant alien pachyderm. John Carter is set for release March 9, 2012.

Deadline reports that Battlestar Galactica star, Katee Sackhoff, is in final negotiations to play the female lead opposite Vin Diesel in writer/director David Twohy’s untitled Chronicles of Riddick sequel. Sackhoff is set play a Nordic mercenary named Dhal, that is tracking Vin Diesel’s Riddick, which fits in with the previously released plot synopsis:

Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.

And on that note, Bye! Au revoir! Adios! Ciao! Ting tao tay! I need to go see some men about some tights.
