First official trailer of the new BAYWATCH!

rock-blow

You know, I was rather reluctant to accept they were making a new Baywatch but after this rather hilarious teaser I am totally looking forward to it!

Have a watch if you didn’t catch it:

Now THAT is what you call playing on expectations! Not quite what David ‘The Hoff’ Hasselhoff would have done now is it?  I enjoy films that poke fun of their origins, films that almost break the fourth wall because they tend to not be ‘so serious’. Will it get more serious? Will it keep this level of silly, self-referentialism in?

Have a watch of the official trailer and find out kids!

Okay, when I said kids, I really didn’t mean it. This version of the Baywatch is R-rated which has Trevor foaming at the mouth. He really hopes so see some naked jellyfish, the poor thing. It actually looks like a load of fun and yes, breaks the fourth way ‘look at the way she’s running ion slow motion’!

We are also rather delighted to have some cameos from the Hoff and Beach Babe Pamela Anderson themselves, yay! Also expect Zac Efron, Alexandra Doddario, Priyanka Chopra (as the oil loving baddie), Ilfenesh Hadera, and Kelly Rohrbach in place of Pamela’s old role C.J (so called because that’s the only way her character could remember her name*). It’s also directed by Seth Gordon of Horrible Bosses fame so I am expecting something rather hysterical.

Expect the waters to warm on 19 May, 2017.

*May be a false.

  1. I never thought I’d laugh at Zac Efron. Actual laugh that is, not fake laugh.
