In Other News – 14 October 2015

A few times, earlier this year, the guys said things that made me angry. A few moments later, violent storms ripped through the east, dumping tons of rain on all of them. In a bid to end this heat wave, they have been doing all manner of things to try and get me to send the rain, but it just hasn’t worked yet. Perhaps I need to do an anger dance or something.

In Other News: dancing like Carlton isn’t cheap but it is worth it, Konami says sorry and Nintendo still has a place in today’s gaming market.

Here’s the news we didn’t post today because we were too busy avoiding kissing while driving.

I react the same way when someone is trying to interact with me while I’m playing The Witcher 3.

Man, that is so me listening to James Spader as Ultron.

You said it. That guy was the perfect voice for Ultron.

You know what nails it for me though? When the twins tell the story of the bombing of their village. The way Ultron LISTENS to them. I have never seen that level of facial involvement from a robot. That scene alone makes Age of Utlron worthy of a few re-watches…

I really did enjoy that move more than I thought I would.

My first screening of it was proper meh. My eyes cannot handle 3d so well. But in plain ole 2d on my TV it is my movie of the year so far. (Yeah. I know. I am not writing reviews for that snobbish site themovies.co.za anytime soon…)

            Haha.
Definitely one of my top action movies this year, if not the top one so far (I have only watched a handful, to be fair).
Still have to watch Antman though.

No, sometimes they get like that when they are focused on a single object, probably moving. I have observed that, although this is an extreme case.

Cats sometimes focus on the goal to the exclusion of the immediate surrounding, hence sometimes not making the landing or the jump or whatever. Cuteness!

      This is crazy. Shocking.
There are very strict building regulations in place to avoid things like this.

I was very close to having to drive home after a meeting in JHB CBD at around the time it fell.

      Lucky it was cancelled.
