Black-Widow

Earlier today, I saw a quick cartoon for Scottish Batman, that had me giggling. And thinking. Always a dangerous combination. But it made me think, what if Superman was South African? What would he sound like? A part of me hopes that he has that rather specific Jozi accent. “Truf, justice and it’s time to klap gym boets! Up, up and away! WHAT’S A TEXI DOING IN MAH AIRSPACE CHAAINA?!”

In Other News: Bruce Lee still has it, little brats with the Oculus Rift, Hyrule has a few unexpected warriors and Doom is looking good.

Here’s the news that we didn’t post today, because we were too busy having an urge to play Snake on a Nokia 5110.

    South African Batman.
    Now there’s a thought.
ANC would probably find a way to tax him too.

Hunger is the new adventure game from LittleBigPlanet Vita’s Tarsier Studios

Tarsier Studios — the developer behind LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and contributor on the original LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 for PlayStation 3 — announced its new game this morning: the third-person action adventure Hunger.

In Hunger, players control 9-year-old Six, a girl who has been kidnapped from her home and taken to work in a surrealistic and elite underwater resort called The Maw. An “unexpected twist of fate” offers Six a chance to escape, and her subsequent journey through the strange world of The Maw offers her a look at the “corrupt heart of modern happiness.” The title incorporates some stealth elements and will emphasize exploration along Six’s quest.

During the 2014 Nordic Game Conference in Sweden this week, it was announced that Hunger’s development is made possible in part by 500,000 Danish kroner ($91,736.50) in funding from the Nordic Game Program.

“This is not only a huge vote of confidence from the Nordic Game Program expert group,” Tarsier CEO Ola Holmdahl said in a press statement. “The grant enables us to explore an idea we are deeply passionate about. Hunger holds fantastic potential, and our job now is to harness that promise into a great experience.”

Currently there are no details on release dates for Hunger. Holmdahl told Polygon that Tarsier is aiming to make Hunger a downloadable title for PlayStation 4.

Hunger is Tarsier’s first original IP since showing PlayStation 3 title The City of Metronome at E3 2005. The game was never published. In 2009, the developer became an independent studio operating with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios and the following year signed a publishing deal with SCE Europe for a then-unannounced project.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just send LG a CV instead of spamming shit in the comment section every day?

I send it to Gavin when he’s awake, sometimes I post it. Then again, at least everything I’ve posted is gaming related *glances at the rest of the comments*, yeah, my stuff is spam.

If Gavin has an issue, he’s yet to bring it up with me. Until the sites administrators say something, un-wad your panties, and move on.

Not sure why, I don’t see any of your remarks targeted at any other individuals who routinely post non-game information on every article. 😛

But yeah, ask Gavin, I talk to him almost daily.

Okay, so here goes. I inadvertently expanded a few of your posts recently without first reading the first few lines of text on display. They all happened to be on the same day when you decided to finish up your PS4 worship session with “Your comment section has been owned” or some reasonably close wording.
I take no offense to the content or quotes/plagiarism on offer as it was my decision to click “show more” when I was paying very little attention as I tend to scan through various sites simultaneously when catching up. When the content is overwhelming (imo) as I felt the other day I tend to just get fucking annoyed as it feels like you’re spamming the comments section.
I have read many of your comments relating to actual news stories posted and have never taken offence to them and have always felt that you generally comment fairly with your POV in mind which is great.
However, for me, personally, the posts regarding mass PS4 news updates irritate the fuck outta me when I’m winding down in the evening and getting a few “lags” and news out of the boys on ION.

Again, I say “personally” so please don’t take it to heart as I’m sure many regulars do actually read all of it and appreciate it. I am just not one of them.

PS Have an awesome day tomorrow Guv!

It’s alright, I guess it’s a situation thing, because I really have no lag issues, I don’t think about the effects of what I’m posting on those who may (not bragging, it’s simply something I don’t have to really worry about anymore).

I will work in the future to refrain from posting content with large volumes of HTML5 movies, or hi-res images to try and curb those issues for you and those in the same position, though. Besides, it’ll let Gavin and the guys use their new image gallery option more 🙂

And I’m not really plagiarising, I mean, not only do I attached the name of the writer, I also provide a link…so I mean, that’s pretty consistent documentation of where it’s coming from (Unless there’s no source information on VGchartz or Dualshockers, in which case there’s not a ton I can do there).

Either way, sorry it was impacting your bandwidth. Just trying to lend a hand, especially over the weekend when the LG writers are away (That’s usually when the floodgates open).

errrr, never said a word about bandwidth but okay. “Lags” was actually Afrikaans for “laughs”. Guess you really are out of touch with… ummm… nevermind :-p
Dude, do what you want to do. I commented on my personal opinion and I’m probably in the minority. It’s a free world out there, power to you, do what you love doing.

PS I still hope you have an awesome day to…day.

I was born and raised in America,, so yeah there’s going to be a cultural disconnect when it comes to language 🙂

I don’t post it for the laughs, I mean, that particular one “I own your ION Section” was me looking back on what I’d posted that day and said…Damn, I put more in here than everyone else put together hehe. That was an exception day, not really the rule. Not sure why I just started posting it all in the ION, just one day it felt like a good idea.

It’s usually because well, living in America, I’m on a different timezone, and sometimes I feel like I’m overwhelming Gavin with stuff, so I just post it myself. Ya know? Again, not upset or anything, I wasn’t…just kinda curious why you were picking me out of everyone else.

If there’s a next time (hopefully we’ve solved this), just do me a favor and tell me up front it’s obnoxious, and I’ll try to curb my behavior (when possible).

Days winding down for me though, so hopefully it’ll be a good night (working on that now). You have a good day though!

The “laughs” comment was not aimed at you, I meant it as “laughs and news” from the other regulars, no offence intended.

Peace out brother 🙂 Much love
