It’s not long to go now, before the second part to the best Batman film of 2012, The Dark Knight Returns, is released. PArt one was a faithful, kinetic adaptation of the graphic novel, but in part 2? That’s when the action really gets underway. A final battle with the Joker, a police force after his head, nuclear war and a certain man of steel all stand between an aged Bruce Wayne and the good death that he has been seeking all his life.
But before he can get to the Bat-heaven in the sky, he’s going to need to go through these new interviews and pictures for the upcoming film.
Below are the interviews from Peter Weller, Michael Emerson and Mark Valley via Coming Soon, who voice Batman, Joker and Superman respectively. Plus some new pictures. Because I like you guys in a totally cool and platonic manner.
Michael Emerson, you scare me. Picture time!
The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 is out on all those delicious forms of storage such as DVD and Blu-Ray on January 29. We’ll have to wait a tad longer though, either for our import order of it to come through, or for it to be available locally, as is usually the case with such films. If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t forget to take a gander at the trailer that hypes up the final chapter in this saga.
