Whoever came up with this idea for trailer trailers, needs to be dragged into an alleyway and forced to watch Doggie Boogie teaser clips non-stop. Steven Spielberg is pulling the ol’ teaseroo for his upcoming flick, Lincoln, starring Daniel Day Lewis as the 16th president, and a surprisingly zero amount of vampires or axes.

As for the actual trailer, that arrives tomorrow, and will be followed by a Google+ Hangout with Spielberg and Joseph Gordon Levitt. Wondering where that voiceover originates from? It’s from Lincoln’s iconic Gettysburg address, which was delivered way back on November 19, 1863.

Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,” a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.

Lincoln stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, David Strathairn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader, Hal Holbrook and Tommy Lee Jones, and will be out towards the end of this year.
