Alright, let’s get this out of the way: Tom Cruise may not resemble the title character of the upcoming Jack Reacher film in any physical sense based on the book descriptions, but then again, how many people have actually read the novel?

It’s all about badass attitude with Reacher, and that’s something that Cruise can convey properly, alongside some clever editing from the post production crew that worked on the film. Don’t believe me? See for yourself after the jump.

Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, Tom Cruise stars as the titular ex military man, a modern day troubleshooter who gets arrested for suspicion of being a sniper that recently killed five people with six bullets.

Reacher ain’t too happy with those accusations, and soon sets out to prove his own innocence, while also uncovering a larger conspiracy, with Werner Herzog’s Zec persona being the man pulling all the strings.

Jack Reacher is out just after Christmas, because breaking bones is a great way to escape that jolly fat man known as Saint Nick. The film stars Cruise alongside Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins, David Oyelowo, Michael Raymond-James and Robert Duval

  1. I have read Lee Child’s One Shot twice, the book on which this movie is based and it’s brilliant. Pure magic. One of my personal favourites. Can’t wait to see the movie!

That so? I need to make a plan to read that book then.

Sorry about that, I must have saved the wrong draft. All fixed. Now to go fall on my sword.

That’s an euphemism for masturbation, isn’t it?
