Stephen Lang will return for all the AVATAR sequels

Quaritch

I enjoyed Avatar. But for all the wrong reasons. See, I was firmly on the side of the humans, because screw those damn tall Smurfs with their live in harmony hippie crap. When you’ve got technology, arrogance, military might and mech suits, nothing can stop you!

And if Colonel Miles Quaritch is leading the charge to slap a genetic memory into the culture of the Na’Vi, I’d follow him into hell itself. But not even hell could keep the baddest soldier down.

Speaking in a press statement, director James Cameron confirmed that Stephen Lang would be back for all three sequels. “Steven was so memorable in the first film, we’re privileged to have him back,”

I’m not going to say exactly HOW we’re bringing him back, but it’s a science fiction story, after all.  His character will evolve into really unexpected places across the arc of our new three-film saga.  I really look forward to working with such a gifted actor, who’s also become a good friend.

For some reason, I have an idea that a Quaritch Na’Vi avatar would kick all kinds of ass. Filming starts later this year, with the sequels arriving in December of 2016,2017 and 2018.

The question remains: Which disney movie will he rip off next? The Little Avatar? Sleeping Avatar? Beauty & the Na’Vi?

        Probably something like:

When news of Jake Sully’s death reaches Na’vi, Neytiri is devastated. She sets off to Earth with Norm Spellman to meet with the RDA on a diplomatic mission: to create peace and respect between the two Planets. However, Colonel Miles Quaritch is still around; he wants to return to Pandora and take over, no matter what the cost. He will stop at nothing to discredit the young princess.

Yes that’s right. It’s sci-fi, not fantasy. Leave the resurrection spell out of it. He died. And no, clones don’t count.
