Tim Burton is going maximum,er, Burtonesque, for his next film, a remake of his cult classic, Frankenweenie. Switching from live-action to stop motion animation once again, the grayed out tale spins a yarn about a talented young boy named Victor who brings his dead dog back to life, in a manner that pays homage to the classic Frankenstein films.
Of course, bringing back a deceased pooch and then imbuing with several enhancements, doesn’t mean that life can ever be normal again, as can be seen in the new trailer that has just been released.

A young boy named Victor… wasn’t the character in Corpse Bride named Victor? Tim Burton might be obsess-much with that name. Hey, at least it’s not Johnny Depp again.

Well, something needs to generate new merchandise for puppets, bags and size-too-small shirts. All the girls who adored Nightmare Before Christmas are parents now and Corpse Bride didn’t quite have the same legs…
Meh, I’m not that excited about Burton any more. He needs to do something wacky again that doesn’t come out his sketch book.
Oh, and I have yet to forgive him for Alice In Wonderland.
