Another year, another opportunity for Jennifer Lawrence and David O. Russell to make a new addition to their burgeoning Oscar statue trophy case. The actress and filmmaker have teamed up twice before on Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle, with both times resulting in awards gold. Now they’re trying to make it 3 for 3 with Joy aka that movie about the lady who invented the miracle mop.

That may not sound like the most thrilling pitch for an awards-worthy movie, but there’s a lot more to the story of Joy Mangano, the single mother of three who went on to run a business empire, with a whole lot messy familial politics along the way. Russell and Lawrence both seem to be firing on all cylinders again, and if that’s not enough to entice you, they’ve also brought along a stellar support cast consisting of Robert De Niro, Edgar Ramirez, Virginia Madsen, Isabella Rosselini and Bradley Cooper (who is also making this his third team up with Lawrence and Russell).

Check them all out below in the latest trailer.

JOY is the wild story of a family across four generations centered on the girl who becomes the woman who founds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch in her own right. Betrayal, treachery, the loss of innocence and the scars of love, pave the road in this intense emotional and human comedy about becoming a true boss of family and enterprise facing a world of unforgiving commerce. Allies become adversaries and adversaries become allies, both inside and outside the family, as Joy’s inner life and fierce imagination carry her through the storm she faces.

Joy is scheduled for international release on December 25, 2015.
