Doc Strange (1)

I’m rather amped for November at the movies. Because like Queen once sang about, it’s a kind of magic. Specifically a Marvel magic that’ll be hitting the big screen with Doctor Strange. Early buzz on this flick starring Rumblesack Creamsicle Brandybuck Scratchnsniff Bakery Charizard Benedict Cumberbatch as Earth’s sorcerer supreme has been positive lately.

It looks freaky, it has a solid cast and the special effects will convince you that your popcorn has been sprinkled with some LSD. And of course, there’ll be plenty of moichendise to go with this latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Once again, Hot Toys will be throwing their hat into the ring with a sixth-scale replica. There’s a breakdown below the gallery of what you can expect from this figure, but here’s the most important part: The horns.

Sure, they’re meant to be hand gestures used for casting spells, but this is the kind of figure that I’d happily take with to a Metallica concert just so that I can throw sixth-scale horns when Master of Puppets begins.

This fall, embark on a mind-blowing adventure across dimensions with Doctor Strange! The Marvel Comics superhero makes his highly anticipated big-screen debut in the upcoming movie of the same title, which is set to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe in unprecedented ways with the introduction of the Mystic Arts.

Acclaimed actor Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Dr. Stephen Strange, a brilliant but arrogant surgeon whose career is destroyed in a near-fatal car crash, but finds a new perspective on life when he meets the Ancient One and discovers the hidden world of magical powers.

In anticipation of the opening of the movie, Sideshow, and Hot Toys are proud to present the sixth scale collectible figure of this charismatic and powerful superhero!

The movie-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange in the movie, featuring a newly developed head sculpt, sophisticatedly tailored and highly detailed outfit, two styles of costume display options with a magnetically attachable Cloak of Levitation with intricate embroidery, a variety of mystical artifacts including the Eye of Agamotto, and a Doctor Strange-themed figure stand with character backdrop.

This is awesome looking. Though, I think I will fork out for a Hot Toy if ever they should do an Ashley Williams from Mass Effect 3. Though I know that will not happen because relevance!
