Wanderlust comes out soon, and if you’re looking for a feel-good comedy that also happens to feature the main actors getting high as a kite off of some funky shrooms, then this might be just the movie that you’ve been looking for.

Co-Writer Ken Marino pulls double duty acting as the older, neurotic brother who allows for his sibling and wife to move in with him. And the writer had a few nice things to say about his co-stars for the premiere of Wanderlust recently.

Speaking to THR, Marino explained how he had bunked with director David Wain. “We just have a good time together and we make each other laugh,” he said.

“We just sit in a room together and start banging out stories. If he makes me laugh, then it goes in. If I make him laugh, then it goes in. If we read it again later on and it still makes us laugh, then it stays in.”

The new Judd Apatow produced-comedy reunites Aniston and Rudd, who last appeared together for the 1996 film Object of my affection. Back together for Wanderlust, the pair play a married Manhattan couple who get involved with a hippie community after Rudd loses his job.

“We had Paul in mind when we started writing it, and Jen was kind of on our dream list,” Marino said about the two lead actors. “When they stepped into it, their instincts and their choices were spot on.”
