Wonder Woman Blu-Ray content revealed, arrives September 19

I’d heard that Wonder Woman was apparently a pretty good film. I’d seen people gush all over the street about it and I kind of felt out of the loop whenever anyone yelled “DIANA YES” around me. So on the last weekend that the film was showing near me, I decided to finally scrounge up a few bucks and go watch it. My stale popcorn was ready, I’d sat through a dozen adverts about how consuming alcohol would make me a virile handsome sex god extreme sports champion and at least one trailer for an upcoming Afrikaans movie that made me want to rip my eyeballs out.

The cinema darkened, the DC Comics logo popped on the screen and…the power went off. Thanks dodgy Eskom infrastructure that was never properly maintained. While I missed my chance to see Wonder Woman in a cinema whose floors were sticky with what I pray I never have to shine a black light on, redemption comes in the form of a Blu-Ray DVD set that’ll be out on September 19.

Here’s what you’ll find on it, although I’m a tad bit bleak that there’s no director’s commentary from Patty Jenkins. Still, there’s a lot of other content starring the famed helmer of one of the most successful films of the year:

Not a bad selection of content at all. Physical media may be slowly dying in favour of streaming options, but I love behind the scenes content like this. Hell, a worthy collection of extra content even made the poorly-received Star Wars prequels fascinating to watch, as you could slowly see George Lucas go off the rails while his worried crew watched on.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
