WWE Monday Night RAW took place from the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin last night. Here’s all the action that went down.

Intercontinental Champion The Miz confronted Raw General Manager Kurt Angle

RAW October 23 (2)

And he was none too happy that the RAW GM had stuck his nose in WWE TLC. After Kurt Angle returned to his managerial duties and sanctioned several champion vs champion matches for Survivor Series, the Miz hit the ring alongside Cesaro and Sheamus, and demanded that Angle hand in his resignation notice for keeping the spotlight away from the Intercontinental Champion.

Instead, the Miz got something else when Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins arrived on the scene: A spot in a six-man tag team match between himself, the Bar, Rollins, Ambrose and Smackdown LIVE’s AJ Styles.

AJ Styles and Raw Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins def. Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus

RAW October 23 (3)

With a full tank of gas inside of him, former WWE Champion AJ Styles was firing on all cylinders as he teamed up with Rollins and Ambrose toface The Miz and the Bar, evening the odds for the tag team champs who had barely survived their TLC match a night earlier. The end came from a Phenomenal Forearm to Cesaro once the Shield had managed to dispatch any interference from the ring, but Styles quickly found himself caught up in a post-match beatdown with the arrival of Kane on the scene.

A beatdown that would not go unanswered.

Kane def. Finn Bálor

RAW October 23 (4)

The devil’s favourite demon was on a tear last night, facing Finn Balor next. With his main prey of Braun Strowman out of action, Kane was RAW’s main monster and he proceeded to dismantle the first WWE Universal champion within the ring. Taking time to target Balor’s back, Kane’s trio of chokeslams resulted in a decisive end to this match.

Asuka def. Emma

RAW October 23 (5)

The empress of tomorrow had one hell of a debut last night when she defeated Emma at TLC. For her proper RAW debut, Asuka repeated her victory against the Australian. Going into match with a fool-proof plan to rob Asuka of any advantages that she may have in the ring, Emma still came up short against the unpredictable offense of her competition, falling victim to another Asuka Lock.

Mickie James confronted Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss

RAW October 23 (6)

The bad blood between Mickie James and Alexa Bliss is far from over, as the current champ demanded that the audience give her the respect that she deserved. Instead, Bliss got a DDT from former champ Mickie James.

Jason Jordan def. Elias via Disqualification

RAW October 23 (7)

In a rematch from TLC, Elias faced Jason Jordan again for some sweet revenge for the rare pinfall defeat that he was dealt, and came up short again. After deciding to teach Jason Jordan a lesson outside of the ring, Elias drove the young competitor into the barricades and gave him a six-string strike with his guitar, earning a disqualification in the process.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar accepted WWE Champion Jinder Mahal’s challenge

RAW October 23 (8)

Be careful what you wish for, because you may just get it. WWE Champion Jinder Mahal wants to face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series? That’s a challenge that the Universal Champion accepted, as his advocate Paul Heyman grabbed a mic and sent the message loud and clear to the “Make-Believe Maharaja” and the “Singh-Along Brothers”.

Alicia Fox def. Sasha Banks and Bayley to become captain of Raw’s Women’s Survivor Series team

RAW October 23 (9)

With the women’s division of Team RAW needing a team captain, a backstage altercation led to a triple-threat match to find a leader. None other than Alicia Fox came out on top, besting her teammates with many a near escape and a Bayley-To-Belly suplex of her own on the doctor of huganomics.

Team Lucha Lucha (Kalisto, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann, Mustafa Ali and Gran Metalik) def. The Zo Train (WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore, Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari)

RAW October 23 (10)

There were luchadors aplenty last night, as new Cruiserweight champion Enzo Amore’s alliance found themselves outgunned by the king of flight and his masked teammates. Gravity was ignored, the action got intense and not even the dirtiest of tricks from the Zo Train could help secure victory as a a Salida del Sol from Kalisto hit its mark and guaranteed him a title match on 205 Live.

The SmackDown LIVE roster attacked the Raw roster

RAW October 23 (1)

Deciding to send a message to the RAW roster over GM Kurt Angle’s off-handed remark about Smackdown LIVE’s thin roster of talent, commissioner Shane McMahon marched his locker room into the RAW arena and placed the show under sige. With Kurt Angle a hostage, the Smackdown army took out the RAW roster one by one as The New Day led a vicious charge across the stadium.

No superstar was safe, as everyone from Sasha Banks to Seth Rollins was taken out of action. Angle was taken to McMahon for a showdown in the ring, with the prodigal son demanding that Angle face the Smackdown team at Survivor Series so that the two could finish the legendary feud that they’d started back at King of the Ring 2001.

Guys, a polite request, can you please use less spoilery photos for these articles? Case in point the TLC results article gave it away without even reading the article. 🙁 A previous Smackdown review pic also gave away a big return.
