Amazon France are on the leading edge of breaking videogame news at the moment with their recent announcement of Black Ops 2 and now they are announcing that Microsoft will be releasing a 10th anniversary bundle for the Xbox 360.
But wait, the Xbox 360 isn’t 10 years old so why would they be doing that this year?
Well unbelievably this is the 10th anniversary of the Xbox brand, it honestly feels like they have been around longer but it’s 10 years now since the release of the massive black Xbox and that gargantuan controller (that I really liked).
So to celebrate this moment Microsoft will be releasing a 250Gb Xbox 360 with 2 wireless controllers, a disc copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary addition, download codes for Fable 3, Gears of War 2 and Halo plus 3 months Xbox Live Gold membership.
All for 280 Euro’s..
Personally I find that a pretty poor showing from Microsoft for a 10 year anniversary, I had to take my wife to Mauritius for our 10 years and the least I’d expect from Microsoft is a custom Xbox 360 with “10 Year Anniversary” written elegantly in silver or gold somewhere on it.
That would tempt me to trade up but this is just another bundle in the end
