Cry Freedom 001

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was a fun romp through life as a pirate. Sorry, an assassin pirate. Now the first story DLC has launched and lets you try to free the slaves. Its even got a launch trailer.

First things first, here’s that brand new shiny launch trailer for your viewing pleasure:

For those who don’t watch videos, the DLC centers on Adewale, Kenway’s right-hand man and quartermaster in AC IV. He has the dream of liberating all the slaves, and recruits other free slaves to help him in his cause. All in all, I think this will add some much needed story elements to the Black Flag single player experience.

It’s not to say that the game doesn’t already have a decent story, but it seems to get lost in the open sea where most players just lazily sail around, living the pirate’s life. With this DLC, players will get a clear cut story with some stronger moral purpose – a nice balance to the fun romp that was AC IV.

You all know I’m not a fan of DLCs, but this one does look rather interesting. Ubisoft claims that it’s 4+ hours of extra content. So, for those who enjoyed the game but want more from the single player experience, this could be just the thing you’ve been looking for. I wonder how many DLCs are planned for AC IV: Black Flag – perhaps it’s time to pick up the Season Pass so that I can grab them all.

Add another “ho” & that would be a fair description of the people I spent Sat afternoon with. 😉

I have to say I was’t keen to get this, but I got the PS4 version and though ya I’ll try it out… I didn’t expect playing a pirate would be so much fun, I’m seriaaassly loving it.

The PS4 rocks with it’s cock out all day long with that game, the graphics are awesome and I still get uber impressed by the water /wave dynamics and how the ships handle.

I’ve been playing pretty much every night till 3am…..soooo hooked!

Definately getting the DLC, thanks Zoe-tjie!
