Later this year we’ll see the book close on Ezio Auditore da Firenze’s part of the ever-widening Assassin’s Creed mythos in Revelations. The game will be out on November 18 this year, and like Brotherhood will feature sneak & slash multiplayer action.
You can get early access to the multiplayer next month in the form of a multiplayer beta – but only if you own a PlayStation 3.
From September 3-8, PlayStation Plus and Uplay members get exclusive access to the beta, with it opening up to the general populace from the 8th to the 11th.
The beta will feature nine characters (The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion), three maps (Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, Constantinople) and four playable modes (Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault).
The press release specifically calls it a timed exclusive, but there’s no word on when the beta will be available for Xbox and PC gamers.
