Two idiots in Canada (yup not the USA this time) have been banned from playing violent video games for a year by a judge.
Apparently for no real reason they decided to break into a friends house, cause $25 000 worth of damage and then nuke the family cat to death.
For this they get banned from playing video games and have been forced to pay a $500 insurance premium and do 100 hours of community service.
I for one don’t think the punishment is nearly harsh enough and is yet another example of gaming being blamed for something it has obviously nothing to do with.

How is that punishment going to teach them a lesson?
The whole point in punishment is to make the person/people not want to commit the crime again.
I say 1yr in jail and a $20 000 fine!
