Yesterday we saw IGN vote Fallout IGN as their top title of E3 this year and now it’s 1UP’s turn.

1UP didn’t make a nice video for us but I have summed up some of the awards here and you can click through at the bottom for the full list.

So lets get straight into it

Best 360 Game: Gears of War 2 (No suprise there)
Best PS3 Game: LittleBigPlanet (You have to love it)
Best Wii Game: Mad World (Suprise choice)
Best Shooter: Resistance 2 (PS3)
Best New Title: MAG (PS3)

They also voted Mirrors Edge as in best action game, Left 4 Dead as best PC game and Flower as best downloadable game.

So all in all I think their choices, I was a little suprised to see Resistance 2 come out on top of the shooters but I don’t think it’s a bad thing. Resistance one was a huge title for the PS3 and received a lot of well deserved praise. I do see that Killzone 2 was once again ignored in the awards which must be a worrying sign for the people anticipating it.

Game of the show for 1UP was LittleBigPlanet. This is the only one of their choices that I disagree with. I don’t think enough new functionality was revealed about LBP to warrant any real award for it this year. Don’t get me wrong I am in awe of this game but best of show?

I also noticed Fallout 3 wasn’t mentioned…

The biggest suprise is Mad World being voted best Wii game at the show, the comic styled bloody rampage is not the sort of game you think off when you think off the Wii

Okay, don’t attack me for asking this but:

Did the 360 or Wii win anything according to 1UP that wasn’t specifically for their console?

Looks like the PS3 won everything there, except for Mirror’s Edge which is multi plat.
