Any South African PlayStation fan knows about the PlayTheZone magazine.
The long standing unofficial PlayStation magazine is going through a bit of a change…. okay a huge change.
As of next month the previously unofficial PS magazine is going to go head to head against the big boy in the industry… NAG.
That’s right, they are going cross platform.
While the owners of the magazine have been distributing 360, PC and Nintendo games for quite some time now I didn’t see this one coming at all.
I think it’s a great move but I can see how some people could see it as a sell out… So what do you think?

It would be nice to have an alternative to NAG in which the editor doesn’t bash its readers.

I’ve never owned a sony console so I’ve never read ‘Play the zone’ before, but i think a bit of competition in the cross-platform gaming mags can only (well mostly) be a good thing – it should push up theqaulity of both publications.
