Here is some news that may make us feel a little special, even if it isn’t yet 100% confirmed and only because we leech off of Europe.
Take Two announced today that Bioshock 2 will be releasing in North America on November 3, which sounds about right. They then went on to announce that Bioshock 2 will be releasing in Europe on October 30th, five days before North America.
Hang on, don’t we usually get games the same time as Europe?
Yes, indeed we usually do. If Bioshock 2’s release is going to stick to how it usually works around here, then it looks like we may actually get it before the United States of Cheeseburgers.
Take that America!
What does worry me, although I am sure that it has been rectified by now, is that the release of the first Bioshock in South Africa did not go down so well, with the game, as well as Take Two’s “The Darkness” arriving incredibly late on our shores.
It also needs to be said that there is no official confirmation on whether or not the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC version will all release at the same time, but hopefully, everyone will get a same day release. The first Bioshock was of course an Xbox 360 console exclusive, but was later released for the PS3 as well.
