Bioshock developer rejects PS3 again?

42 second read

2K Boston, the amazing team which created Bioshock for the 360, seems to be once again rejecting the PS3.

They have started advertising for some new positions for a new title they are working on but have only asked for 360 and PC platform respondents…

So are they going to reject the PS3 again or do you think they are just planning on retraining some existing developers?

In related news the Bioshock to PS3 rumours are still doing the rounds even though 2K has come out and stated in no uncertain terms

There will be no PS3 version of BioShock

However I am a strong believer in long term rumours becoming fact, MGS4 on 360 anyone?

When will developers stop being lazy??? I remember this when the PS2 came out a bunch of devs whining that its difficult. Then once they know what to do…

What MGS = “Microsoft Games Studios”?

    A coincidence, I think not 😉

rofl @ fanboi #1 obviously not a programmer, or a business man for that matter. I guess “just a fanboi” . ..

Actually Boston 2K is also advertising a number of positions for developers with PS3 experience on its Web site.

ZOMG! PS3 exclusive! No love for the 360, etc!

@Bob, I can only see PS3 mentioned as a side option on a few jobs… at jobs.gamasutra.com they are specifically looking for 360 programmers

One ad says “”Experience with PS3 development is highly desirable.””

Do they want PS3 experienced programmers to sit around on their hands and complain about how hard developing for the PS3 is so that they can feel better about making 360 exclusives, do you think? 😉 Obviously, they must be doing something PS3-related if they want PS3 programmers.

They probably want to port a game over or make a multiplatform. It won’t be a PS3 exclusive.
