Dragon Age: Inquisition will be out in about a month. It’s really getting close now and I can feel my RPG senses tingling. I will be playing it on new generation console, but I know many of you are grabbing it on PC. Luckily, the game probably won’t require you to upgrade your machine to play.
The PC version of the game supports use of an Xbox 360 controller. This is great for those who want to pretend their playing on Xbox but with better graphics. Okay, here are your PC requirements:
Minimum:
- OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
- CPU: AMD quad core CPU @ 2.5 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 2.0 GHz
- System RAM: 4 GB
- Graphics CARD: AMD Radeon HD 4870, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
- Graphics Memory: 512 MB
- Hard Drive: 26 GB
- DirectX 10
Recommended:
- OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
- CPU: AMD six core CPU @ 3.2 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 3.0 GHz
- System RAM: 8 GB
- Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7870 or R9 270, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
- Graphics Memory: 2 GB
- Hard Drive: 26 GB
- DirectX 11
I’m pretty impressed with the team from Bioware. Somehow, they took a gorgeous game and managed to make it work with only 4 GB of RAM or 512 MB of graphics memory. Of course, I’m sure it will look a whole lot better on a more powerful machine, but at least people with older PCs can get in on the Inquisition, too.
Remember, if you play on PC you’ll need to have Origin for online authentication when you install the game. Has Origin grown on you thanks to giving games away for free, or does it still feel like a punishment for choosing to play a game from EA?

I was checking out the map for The Witcher 3 yesterday. Wowie.
Playing Shadow of Mordor yesterday….very disappointing map size, it’s quite tiny, but the gameplay is great fun, and those kill moves just make you want to kill KILL KILL!
Batman Arkham City + Mordor – Batman + Talion – Arkham City = Shadow of Mordor
So many fantasy games right now….but The Witcher still looks to be the best.
If only Bethesda decided to make a new Elder Scrolls instead of the abomination that is TESO, we really would’ve had a bunch of great games to choose from.

If that’s enough reason for you not to play it, then I weep for you. It may not be graphically pretty, but it has an awe inspiring aesthetic. Aesthetics > Graphics.

So if Lazygamer rants about it then maybe it was a bad game and that’s why it failed.
I’m trying to think when Lazygamer ranted about The Witcher 3. Nope. I don’t recall one time.

I more than meet the recommended, so I’m sorted 🙂
And I can live with Origin. I’d prefer not to, but so long as all it does is launch the first time I install a agame, and then pop up with that little “Hey, we’re giving this away today!” window when I first start my computer, I can live with it.
uPlay, on the other hand?
uPlay can fuck right off, and can take Ubisoft with it.
