A site called Pcgames.de has posted the first proper COD5 screens, you can check all three of them out by clicking here.
Is this game a good move from Activision? I know that they are into the idea of releasing a new game every year, but with COD4 being such an incredibly massive success, it feels to me like they are shooting themselves in the foot.
I really loved COD4, both the single player and the multiplayer. To be honest I think it would have been a better move to release something along the lines of a massive “expansion pack”. Why not put together another great campaign, throw in some 4 player co-op and then spruce up the multiplayer with a huge map pack and some new and interesting game modes.
I personally feel that I would be more willing to part with my cash for more COD4 content than I would for yet another “filler” Call of Duty game. For all I know, COD5 might turn out to be really decent but it better pull something really impressive out of it’s multiplayer hat if it wants people to move over from COD4.
