Dark Messiah Of Might & Magic

Dark Messiah is a first person action game that was released into the PC world in 2006 to mixed reviews. The Americans never seemed to take to the game but the Europeans and Australians loved it. So Ubisoft has decided to port it over and improve it for a Xbox 360 release.

While I didn’t know to much about it (and still don’t to be honest) the videos and trailers that are coming out are looking really awesome and so far this is still a game I am pretty excited about.

It’s going to be released on the 15th of February in South Africa and will come as a welcome relief after the lack of new games that January has given us.

If you want to familiarise yourself with the game and story head on over to www.darkmessiahelements.com and take a look….

I had lots of fun and an equal amount of frustration with this game on the PC. I really liked the story line and got addicted to the game. Good graphics, a good story with lots of interesting things to do and find.

Unfortunately the game came out with a lot of bugs, I think UbiSoft released 3 patches for the game. Anyway mine kept on crashing with a DirectX error even after the patches so it became unplayable.

Nonetheless I am hoping that these issues have been fixed and this will definitely will be in my shopping cart – as soon as I can afford it…

Seems like it’s very similar to Oblivion, what do you think sabagamma, have you played Oblivion?

This game isn’t anything like oblivion. No free roaming. But it has a lot more action and the combat is very deep. It got mixed reviews but I enjoyed the game very much, finished it twice. Do anybody know whats the difference between this and the PC version?

Sorry, never played Oblivion but it looks like you have your answer.

I think the XBox version will have a few more levels – gamespot has more information if you are interested.
