Many have been worried that the next-generation Dead Rising – exclusive to the Xbox One – had lost the crazy wackiness of the original games. Capcom really, really wants you to know that you’ll be able to do all of the ridiculous stuff you loved doing in Dead Rising, even though the game appears  to be grittier and much more sombre in tone than its predecessors.

“Anyone who was worried we’d jettisoned the humour from DR3 need only look at these screens to be complete reassured it’s still there and just as out-there as you’d expect from a game with ‘Dead Rising’ in the title,” Capcom says of the shots it showed off at Comic-Con.

Here they are now, for your delicious eyeballs. It’s still the game that’s making me lust after an Xbox One..and now it looks even better.
