Destiny is about a lot of things. Like being social, exploring the legends of Earth and crafting your own one in the vast cosmos around you. It’s also about owning the biggest, baddest and best guns in the solar system. The third rock from the sun has plenty of guns, but from the cold dark depths of Mars to the gaseous and unrelenting pressurised surface of another planet (No, not him), there are more to be found. And here’s where you can grab them.

Of course, it’s always more fun to find such loot for yourself, but then again, who has time for that? Geoff took on a Raid mission two days ago, and we’ve yet to hear back from him as it is. Destiny is out right now. And you’ll have to pry my cool pyro-bullet fed sub-machine gun from my cold, dead hands before I let you have it.
So, what’s your favourite bit of ordnance that you’ve unlocked so far in Destiny? I miss my Sniper rifle from the beta to be honest, which had cryo-rounds for ammunition, did an extra 400% damage with the last shot and hada scope with enough zoom to see the cells in your body. Good times man, good times…

Come on…you can do it soldier (seeing as you a Sergeant and all).
The game is good but don’t think of it as the second coming. It isn’t. It looks beautiful, plays wonderfully and all, has tight controls, etc. But if you came to hear a decent-ish story….ummm you WILL be disappointed. It is all sci-fi dribble…
I will put it like this – Bungie MADE FPS cool on console with Halo – and that game had a great story arc throughout its existence (not to everyone’s tastes sure). But this one…I am not so convinced. However, there is something more-ish about its quests, etc.

Oh and PS – once you done playing Destiny, go download Warframe (free to play) for PS4 – its pretty much the same! And even less story but by god its addictive! Ask old man Trevor at the bottom of the comments here!

I made a big mistake by coming onto this site. Before LG I didn’t even think about playing online and now I’m sitting with my budget open trying to figure out how best to afford a PS4, Destiny, and interwebs at home. You’re ruining me financially here people.

They’re not my favourite, especially not solo & the no shields ones are the worst. The mods you get for completing them are nice though.
The one guy actually apologised last night after I revived him 3 times in a couple of minutes. Still told him not to worry about it, just return the favour when it happens to me – which it did haha.

I’m really enjoying it, though it does feel like it is missing a melee weapon (Sniff- Warframe).
I do have my usual Completion anxiety (Scared to finish the SP). But I’ve decided to finish Mars tonight, then it’s full into Strikes, Raids and Crucible.
