Zilion

A twitch.tv streamer who goes by the nick of ZilianOP has been miraculously healed by the power of gaming… or for those more cynical readers out there, has been caught out for being one of the most despicable types of frauds that exist in this world.

Zilian was apparently a wheelchair bound gamer who earned a small living by streaming and commentating on his gaming experiences from his wheelchair. Many people stream their games and ask for donations and what people do with their money is their own business but this just isn’t cricket.

In the video below we can see Zilian in the screen on the bottom left, while his girlfriend can be heard chatting to other gamers. Obviously he believes his camera has been turned off and so he takes off his headset and walks away. The girlfriend immediately panics and then quickly composes herself hoping that no one else saw that.

His twitch.tv channel has now been blocked, as has his girlfriends, and twitch.tv have released the following statement

The Twitch broadcaster, Zilianop, did indeed have his channel closed and his partnership contract terminated on the basis of fraud. Moving forward, we’ll be offering refunds to those who subscribed to his channel through Twitch. We have zero tolerance for this type of behavior and the character demonstrated in this situation is truly reprehensible. His actions are a huge slap in the face to Twitch community members with real disabilities such as Aieron, and groups such as AbleGamers, who have helped spread a message of inclusiveness and positivity to not only the Twitch community, but gaming as a whole.

It amazes me how scummy some people can be in this world to defraud people by pretending to be disabled.
