Don't forget to register for DGL

Have you been watching our awesome event calendar? See, DGL registrations for the summer leg are open now, but they won’t be forever, so you really should register now.

On 19 January (Monday), registrations for the summer leg will close. You don’t want to miss out on this. Not great at COD or MOBAs? Never fear! This year’s DGL includes some awesome new additions. Sure, you could play FIFA 14, but I know you all really want to play Trackmania Nations. That’s right, you can compete in Trackmania. Or, you could make the non-beta people among you very jealous and take part in the Hearthstone tournament. Either way, it sounds like fun.

Last year’s DGL broke records and was enormous – I have a feeling that this year will be even bigger. It’s a great opportunity for local eSports, and you don’t have to be pro to get involved. The DGL has a commitment to engaging with all levels of players – not just clans. So, get a group of friends together and give it a whirl; what have you got to lose?

Have you entered yet? Still need to come up with an awesome team name? I always enjoy brain storming for those things. I imagine if the lazygamer crew had to make a team, Gavin would insist on calling us the Habaneros, or maybe even the Carolina Reapers. Those are some hot chills. But I’d petition to name ourselves after Darryn: The D – whether The D beats you or gets beat, it always wins.

To those people who do enter good luck, play well and have fun.
To those people who decide to spectate, I hope you cheer for your favourites as though you were at a soccer match.
