At the Konami E3 press conference, Hideo Kojima who has been on and off press conference stages all week, pitched up to announce all the titles he is working on.

We already saw some announcements from him this week, but not four, which begs the question of what in the heck is he working on and has he actually managed to clone himself over the past year?

Find out, after the jump. And don’t forget to read about the last one on the list.

We cannot confirm that he has or has not cloned himself unfortunately, but if he makes an appearance at two simultaneous press conferences at once, we will know for sure.

So what is he busy with?

Well, from the news this week we already know that his team are going to be working on Metal Gear Solid: Rising, which was announced at the Microsoft press conference, although news has come in that he won’t actually be directing it.

The second title we already know about is the one that he will be directing, and it comes in the shape of Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker for the PSP.

So what about the other two? Well the first announcement isn’t that exciting to be very honest, because what they are currently busy with, is porting Metal Gear Online over to work for arcade machines. The title is being called Metal Gear Arcade, and is going to allow multiple coin-op arcade units to connect and play online between different game arcades.

The fourth title, and this one is a real cracker, is that Mr. Kojima has announced that he will in fact be working on a new Castlevania title, subtitled Lords of Shadow. Now, if you haven’t worked it out already, let me just put it quite simply:

Kojima + Castlevania = Super Duper Happy Fun Time.

I cannot wait to see what he is going to do with it, it should prove to be pretty damn awesome when it releases in 2010.

  1. How can you not mention the fact that metal gear arcade uses 3D goggles… that sounds really exciting to me!

there has been all the talk about the PS3 going 3D, maybe this will be one of the games that gets a 3D update in the future
