You have to feel for Sony with one of their major announcements, the PSP Go, being leaked a couple of days before their conference and taking a very large bang out of their conference.
Sony earlier announced that they will be releasing the PSP Go on the 1st of October (USA – $250) to be sold alongside the PSP 3000. The PSP Go will have 16GB of inbuilt flash memory, 1 analogue stick, a sliding screen, no UMD and a downloadable games library.
So everything we knew already, what they did announce which could be awesome for PSP owners is that they are slashing the price of the PSP dev kit by 80% which instantly means we should be expecting a whole heap of new titles in the near future.
Other great news was confirmation that LBP and Grant Turismo will be landing on the PSP Go at launch.

So is it worth it? I am very worried about the cost of downloading games locally but if it works through local bandwidth I guess it won’t be so bad.

Have been really impressed by E3 this year. MS and Sony had great showings. Nintendo was a little disappointing.
In my opinion Sony just pipped it, but only just.

I’m sure I read somewhere yesterday during the Sony show that the games will be available for download as well as in stores.

This is the problem with E3, there is so much news that it’s a mad race just trying to keep up..
Hopefully they will be available at retail though, it does make sense.

I wonder how it will work if it goes retail??? Cant see going to BT games everytime, with a PSP GO trying to kill time as it downloads of our insane internet speeds…
