E3 Killzone 2 Multiplayer Details and Footage

Gamespot was able to have a video interview with the guys from Guerilla to show off some multiplayer footage of Killzone 2 as well as have the developers answer some questions.

Let me give it to you straight: This game is looking seriously hot right now. The graphics are looking fantastic, the gameplay looks amazing and the details that they talk about are starting to make me think that this game is going to be an absolutely massive hit on PSN.

More details after the jump.

I especially like what the have done with their new clan system. They have made it so that when you start a clan, you are given points that act as currency. This currency will be used to place bets against other clans so that when you organise a match against a rival clan (all handled from inside the game itself), a bet is set and the winning clan takes all.

The game will support 32 players online and will ship with 8 different maps on the disk.

I can’t wait to see more of this game. The release date has been set for February 2009.
