Beyond Good and Evil 2, and Mirrors Edge 2 – These two games hold the top spots in my list of must-have sequels. Unfortunately when it comes to BG&E2, we can hope and pray until the cows come home and I doubt we will ever make any head-way.

But light is on the horizon in the case of Mirror’s Edge, as EA’s senior vice president Patrick Soderlund reiterated recent claims that the franchise had not been abandoned. Hit the jump for more.

“I loved Mirror’s Edge and what we did with Mirror’s Edge,” he said. “We have not abandoned the franchise. And we are working on something – but I’m not willing to talk more about that.”

The sequel was stalled earlier this year, but EA Games has confirmed that DICE is looking into new ways of brining the franchise back.
