Eurogamer Face Off Round 7

Eurogamer regularly writes up a feature where they compare cross platform games and choose a winner.

We are now at round 7 and so far the Xbox 360 has won the previous 6 rounds. So how did it fair this time?

1. Kane & Lynch = Tie
2. Timeshift = Xbox 360
3. GRAW 2 = Xbox 360
4. Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground = Tie
5. Guitar Hero III = Xbox 360
6. Blazing Angels = Tie (They are both awful)
7. Medal of Honor: Airborne = Xbox 360
8. Dynasty Warriors: Gundam = Tie
9. Bladestorm = Tie
10. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga = Tie
11. Jericho = Tie
12. Stranglehold = Tie

So there we have it, after 12 games the Xbox takes 4 titles and the other 8 are tied…. However to be honest there are not many great titles in that list above….

I am pretty sure both of those games will make it into Round 8 and by the sounds of it they are both better on the PS3 at the moment…

However nothing counts until it is released to retail

DMC4 is an interesting one because PS3 owners are going to be faced with a 20minute “install” before playing. If it takes 20 minutes to install, it’s going to chow a decent amount of HDD space. So if another game requires an install, you’ll have to delte the cache, then when you want to play, it’s another 20 minute wait.

Wasn’t COD4 better on the PS3 as well ? After all that “PS3 is easier to program for” hype from Infinity Ward, I’d expect it to be so.

After all that hype about COD4 it was roundly agreed that the PS3 and Xbox 360 single player campaigns were identical.

Eurogamer included it in Round 6 of their face offs

Ninja Gaiden Sigma’s install also takes a while but it does not take that much HDD space afaik.
