So I posted yesterday about the horrible review that IGN gave Haze and I said I would look out for the Eurogamer one.
Well on the one hand Eurogamer wasn’t nearly as harsh about the game as IGN was but on the other hand they didn’t love it either.
Not to rehash yesterday but they raised most of the same points as IGN as to why the game is bad, however they did bring up the fact that it is still a solid shooter and the gameplay mechanics are not fundamentally flawed.
It’s the story that is…. They ended up giving it a 7.1 which is not good, but may be worth a look if you have the money on hand…

I don’t know why, but Haze reminds me of mix of Half-Life, FEAR and FarCry.

Haze is not an example of the hype being reviewed, that was GTA IV and Halo 3 🙂 … The hype being reviewed would have been the game getting 10/10 before offical launch when in fact the gameplay only deserved 4/10… and that’s exactly what happened here…. The reviewers gave it what it deserved, not based on hype……

Being about 3-4 missions from the end my final score on GTA is probably a 7, but at times I would agree that the gunplay feels like a 4/10.
