Forza Horizon 2 (1)

I may be a completely rubbish driver in the real world, but when it comes to video games, I’m even more dangerous and unskilled…Wait, that doesn’t sound right. Anyway, if I’m going to be crashing constantly in a racing game, you can be damn well sure that I’ll want to do so with a vehicle that comes with a price tag that makes the Nkandla not-a-compound look like small change in comparison. And Forza Horizon 2 has plenty of those cars available.

The latest batch of vehicles have been revealed. You’ll be chipping digital paint and making Italians cry with these cars in the game:

Forza Horizon 2 (2) Forza Horizon 2 (6) Forza Horizon 2 (3)

Forza Horizon 2 (4) Forza Horizon 2 (5)

  • 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition
  • 1981 BMW M1
  • 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo
  • 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400
  • 1963 Volkswagen Beetle
  • 1995 Ferrari F50
  • 1992 Honda NSX-R
  • 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex
  • 1985 Ford RS200 Evolution
  • 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia
  • 1994 Nissan 240SX SE
  • 1968 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds 442
  • 2012 Caterham Superlight R500
  • 2009 Honda S2000 CR

If you’re wondering if this is the racing game to get, then a demo will also be available from September 16. Now bear with me here, that’s something we see surprisingly little of these days, and you might have forgotten what a demo is. In short, it’s a small slice of the game, available for free. Yessir, you actually get a chance to try the game out and make up your own mind, instead of having to take a chance or read a review that has obviously been bought. Obviously.

The game itself launches on September 30. Vroom vroom baby.

Forza is the main reason I’ll get the Xbox One. Project CARS looks good but only 80-90 cars not so good.

It’s the Ferrari 458, right? That’s you driving up and down Main Road Newlands on the weekend…

Man I’m looking forward to this game!! I absolutely loved Forza Horizon – truly think it’s what the NFS open world racers should be! Looking forward to getting stuck into this too… If it’s anything like its predecessor, then it’ll be fantastically fun!

Agreed. Forza seems to be getting it right where other companies just can’t

Precisely. Honestly Forza is my favourite racing series at the moment… Gran Turismo, although I do enjoy it, could learn a thing or 2 from Forza with regards to engine notes, looks, non-old-school-Japanese car filler, etc. If you combined GT and Forza, you’d have the perfect racing game.

I absolutely agree. I used to be a GT nut, but Forza just has this fresh approach to it.

            They’re a few 100 cars short though

First Forza was a massive surprise – in all the right ways! So to have a 2nd is great news and on 360 too.

Forza Horizon was a truly great game. Really cleverly designed, looked great as well. So am looking forward to getting this.

Are these cars also going to paid DLC?
Or are they going to actually put…you know…cars in a car game?

Why is all Lazygamer images so small? Whenever i click on them then its quite small. No HD images? Same issue with Metro Redux images.
