Now this came a lot earlier than I expected,
Peter Molyneux and Lionhead have confirmed at GamesCom 09 that Fable III is coming and have also given some details about the upcoming game.
The game is going to add even more features that will attempt to make the player feel the weight of their actions in the form of being able to pass judgement on situations but also that instead of only emoting, one can actually use the new touch function (Geoff will love this one).
More after the jump.
Using touch will enable players to interact with other characters more, in the shape of handshakes, hugging and so on. Then they have also included Dynamic Touch, which will allow players to hold peoples hands and take them somewhere, to see something for example. It will be focussed on really bringing a feeling into what you are doing, such as using it when you run into a crisis, pick up a child and move them to safety.
In Fable III you are not the only hero, but one of many and this time around your choices will affect more than just your story, it will have an effect on the everything, especially when you are more powerful and your choices could affect the entire Kingdom.
As always, Molyneux is all about the feelings, choices and consequences and it seems that Fable III is going to be the same and much more.
Fable III is going to be released in 2010 and I am pretty sure that it will be later rather than sooner.

 Oom Peter is at it again (what was it in Fable 2 again? love? bestiality with your dog?). It’s amazing that regardless of all the hot hair this man can produce gamers still get a hard-on for his work. After Fable 1 I’ve vowed never Peter… never again… :getlost:
