So it has been a whole year since the PlayStation 3 was launched in America. Time goes quickly doesn’t it…
Anyway PS3Fanboy has put together a great article detailing the similarities and differences between the first year of each of the PlayStation’s lives.
From this graph it looks quite obvious that the PS3 is doing better than the PS1 but worse than the PS2… But is that really the case? The PS1 didn’t have the same fanfare or media attention at launch and selling less than the previous model is never a good thing. However it is not all doom and gloom for the PS3 as the article goes on to explain.

Mhhh… interesting. Then considering that the PS2 didn’t have any sort of competition in it’s 1st year, the PS3 isn’t doing THAT bad.
Still think getting all 3 consoles is the best thing in the long run.
